Seeking a career or starting a new one can sometimes be frightening. But as a young believer, you need not be confused on how to pray on matters concerning your career. The good news is that according to Phillippians 4:6 (NKJV), the Bible says: “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God”.

This verse encourages believers to pray about everything and anything, therefore career Prayers are very important in the life of a believer. God has given us the permission to “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.” – Matthew 7:7 (NIV).

The Holy Spirit guides my heart and hand and gives me the spirit of wisdom to be able to manage my finances properly and in a way that would be beneficial to my family and me. In Jesus’ name.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, Dear Father, help me find a balance between my career, family, and social life. Let me not be so consumed by the want to succeed that I lose my family, and friends and even drift away from you. Put in my heart how to manage time effectively and surround myself with people who will help me in this aspect, I pray in Jesus’ name.
