1. Father, we glorify your name. We thank you for your love and the provision you have provided. Without that, we will not be privileged to go to school or afford transportation to the school grounds but you’ve made all things well. Thank you, Jesus, may your name be praised forever in Jesus’ name.

2. Proverbs  16:3, Eternal King of Glory, we commit this school session into your hands, we ask that as we commence we start with you and as we close, we close with you. Let there be no issues or problems throughout this session, if anything goes wrong Father provides direction on how to solve the problem quickly and easily. In Jesus name 

3. Proverbs 19:15, Father we come against every spirit of laziness and playfulness this session. Let your spirit guide me and embed the spirit of discipline and hard work. Every form of temptation or distraction is uprooted in the mighty name of Jesus.

4. John 14:26, Dear lord, send your holy spirit to be my best friend. Let him guide and protect me and show up for me whenever I need direction. Let Him guide my path and give me instructions that’ll take me higher and higher. Give me the spirit of obedience like that of Abraham to listen to his word and follow them correctly, In Jesus’ name

5. Proverbs 13:20, Father, every act of unfriendly friends, we come against it. Lord whatever friend or relationship that will distract my school growth, let it be taken away. Let my focus be only on going higher. Bring friends that’ll contribute positively to my life and take away those who secretly dislike me in Jesus’ name.

6. James 1:5, Father bless me with wisdom and understanding. You have said in your word, that we perish for lack of knowledge, Father guide my heart and bless me with wisdom like that of Solomon. Let my words and actions be wise ones and let my star shine brightly, In Jesus’ name.

7. 3 John 1:2, Father, protect my teachers. Let those who teach me not be under any siege to dislike me unjustly. Let their heart be softened like that of a pharaoh and let my teachers teach my understanding and not make life in school unbearable for me.

8. Proverbs 3:7-8, Father I pray over the school environment, let it be safe and compatible for teaching and learning. There shall be no incidents or injuries that will slow down the academic session for me or any other student, in Jesus’ name.

11. Philippians 4:19, Father let them be provision. For school fees, books, provisions, and all my needs that’ll make my school grow stress-free. Bless my parents/ sponsor with financial breakthroughs and protect them from any harm in Jesus’ name! 

12. Psalm 91:11-12, Dear lord, protect my going out and coming in. Let your angels guide and protect me while I eat, play, enter a vehicle, or do any activity. Blind the eyes of the enemy against carrying out any deadly acts against me or any of my family members. In Jesus’ name.

13. Colossians 2:6-7, Lord, use me as your instrument while I’m in school. Let other children see you through my actions and want to know more about you. Let my success be a testimony of your good works and may it bring people from near and far.

14. Father let my academic growth bring me to high places, let me be seated among kings and not mere men, let me be favoured, and let blessings open up as I climb the academic ladder of success In Jesus’ name, amen.
