Prayers for School Growth and Development

An increase in student population is always an exciting thing for school owners, partners, or teachers. It’s only right to want and pray for school growth. God brings increase to every area of our lives and committing your school to his hand would bring nothing but good results only. 1 Corinthians 3:6-7

As you pray with the points listed in this article, I pray that open doors will locate you and give you an influx of students and good press in Jesus’ name. The returning students will be shining testimonies and be a reason for more people to join your school, in Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Prayer Points For School Growth

1. Psalms 27:1, Thank you, everlasting king of glory for the love and care you showed us last session, and all through this school’s existence, we’ve succeeded in instilling values and bringing up young, smart minds. May your name be praised, in Jesus’ name. Thank you for the staff both non-teaching and teaching staff, and thank you for the facilities and environment. For everything we give you the glory, without you we won’t be where we are. May all glory return to you, in Jesus’ name.

2. Isaiah 54:17, King of Glory, we commit this school into your hands, we commit the students, staff, and school facilities all to you. We ask that as we make use of this environment no harm shall befall our students in Jesus’ name, let the teachers and staff be protected on their way coming and going home. Even while they’re in the school compound, Jehovah protects them and keeps them safe. Let no harm come on anyone, in Jesus’ name.

3. Proverbs 11:3, Father bless the students and teachers with godly values that they’ll exhibit not only on the school premises but also outside, to attract people from far and wide towards this school in the mighty name of Jesus. 

4. Matthew 5:14-16, Lord, let this school be like a light set on a hill. Let it attract students, parents, and credible individuals to this place. Many people see our academic records and want to bring their children for a great educational experience. In Jesus’ name.

5. Proverbs 10:15, Father, please give us finances, financial breakthrough, and unlimited resources we need to make this school better. Let people come from far and wide and want to contribute to the building of this school to greatness and better height, in Jesus’ name.

6. Isaiah 43:19, King of kings I ask for wisdom for the staff and children, let the spirit of wisdom overshadow this school. Let the teachers have the understanding and wisdom to transmit the lessons to the students in an easy way, they can understand. And let the students also have a retentive memory and quick understanding. They shall be better than their peers, at home and abroad. In Jesus’ name. Proverbs 22:3.

7. 2 Peter 3:18, Father, as you increase our school growth, help us with a guide on how to bring this student towards your kingdom and your light. Send your holy Spirit and help us show this student that you’re the truth and the light, may your Spirit guide us in Jesus’ name.

8. Psalms 90:17, Dear God, give us future visions for us to know the right choices we are to make in due time. Ways we can expand the school and bring in more students, etc. Father may your holy spirit bless us with the best ideas ever.

9. Psalm 144:12-15, As we go out for competition, may your wisdom speak for us, in every action we take. Preparing the students, the actions we take during the competition let it be like a magnet that’ll not only intrigue parents and students but draw them into registering more people here and increasing school growth.

10. Jehovah, bless the parents of my students with money to provide adequately for their children and enable them to pay their school fees and other fees on time, in Jesus’ name.

11. Psalm 113:1, Father let unity rain in this school, there shall be no act of vandalism, terror, or fighting. That’ll not only injure students, destroy properties but also cause a bad reputation for the school. We ask for a peace that surpasses human understanding, unity and love. In Jesus name 

12. Colossians 3:23, Lord we pray for the teachers, bless their hearts for wanting to teach children and impact. May they have an increase and blessings. Lord increase their passion for the job too, so that they might be able to teach the students with love and no violence. In Jesus name 

13. Psalm 121:7, We cover the community around us with the blood of Jesus, let them be supportive of our cause and not want to cause harm or havoc to our school, students, staff, and parents at large. In Jesus’ name.

13. .1st Corinthians 2:5, Lord of all we thank you, we glorify your name because only you are God and only you alone. May your name be glorified and praised because we have faith that you’ve already done it. Thank you, Jesus, In Jesus’ name, Amen.
